about me

I have resurrected my little city garden in an attempt to instill in my small sons a love of playing in the dirt and growing things. I like to say I'm a laissez faire gardener, but the truth is that I'm just lazy. I don't like to weed and I don't feed. I know myself too well to make any grand promises. Summer Manifesto

1. Rain boots are just a good idea, even on sunny days.

2. If there is even one dog pile in the yard, the toddler will manage to step in it.

3. Always make time for playing in the hose.

4. As soon as the garden is well and truly full, someone will give you another plant. Or two.
